Net income for the three months to 31 March totalled 34.1 million ringgit ($10.5 million), down from a profit of 56.8 million ringgit booked during the same period last year.
The fall in profits came as revenues slipped from 921.8 million ringgit in the first quarter of 2013 to 671.5 million ringgit in the most recent quarter.
The fall in revenue and profits came as the majority of projects in the company’s offshore business segment reached the tail-end of their project schedule, while new projects were still in the early stage.
