MOG received £600,000 ($995,000) as a result of the legal battle fought over Malta’s Area 4.
The company was forced to pay MOG about £1.5 million to cover legal costs brought against MOG’s subsidiary Malta Oil.
Earlier this month, a judge ruled in the UK Commercial Court that Leni should pay back all legal costs because the company pursued a “weak and thin” case.
