The contract was awarded by Korean-based Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering for a value of up to about A$10 million (US$10.2 million) and comprises the design, construction and commissioning of an emergency power system for a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

This latest deal follows the company being awarded a contract by Samsung Heavy Industries late last month to complete an emergency power system for the central processing facility at the Ichthys project.
