Former Chilean energy minister Marcelo Tokman Ramos will take over for general manager Julio Bertrand, who will resign from 12 May after 17 years at the company, according to local reports including the La Tercera newspaper.
While historically playing a downstream role for energy importer Chile, ENAP has also branched out into exploration including initial hydraulic fracturing projects in the country's extreme southern region of Tierra del Fuego.
