The state-owned oil company has unveiled a scenario for future development phases in a consultation document outlining the programme for impact assessment of the project, which will also entail ocean-bottom seismic cables permanently deployed on the seabed to optimise reservoir recovery.
The vast North Sea field, spanning 200 square kilometres, will be developed in the first phase using four facilities - comprising process, wellhead, riser and accommodation platforms.
