Drillsearch and QGC signed a farm-in agreement in July 2011 for ATP 940P Cooper basin shale and tight gas joint venture in central Australia.
Under the new terms, QGC’s withdrawal rights have been removed, the six-well programme has been extended to 10 wells and Drillsearch will remain operator until the end of the current permit term in November 2015.
Drillsearch owns 40% of the permit, while QGC has taken the remaining 60%.
