The 31/10-1 well is set to be drilled in the second quarter at the Lupus prospect in Tullow-operated production licence 507, targeting net mean resources of 167 million barrels, the London-listed company confirmed to Upstream.
The explorer is reported to have scheduled a late May spud date for the well that is set to be drilled using semi-submersible Borgland Dolphin, leased under a rig pooling arrangement, with an estimated duration of 39 days that could run to another 10 days in the event of a discovery.
