Annova LNG said Wednesday it has applied to the US Department of Energy to export up to 2 million tonnes per annum of LNG from Texas' Port of Brownsville, targeting FTA countries with a focus on Chile and South Korea.
"Annova is developing a facility to serve unmet demand among US free trade nations with demand requirements that are too small to participate in the offtake from large liquefaction facilities," said the company, which is financed by an energy firm it declined to name.
