Australia's Nexus Energy has settled aclaim with Transocean offshoot Sedco Forex International over acancelled rig contract, along with an associated cross claim byJapan's Osaka Gas.
Sedco hadlaunched a claim againstNexus and its wholly-owned subsidiary Nexus Energy WA in 2011 forabout $67 million.
The claim revolved around Sedcoterminating a contract with Nexus in 2009 for use of thesemi-submersible Transocean Legend on the Crux gas and condensatediscovery.
