The company said the deal was worth about 150 million euros (US$191 million) and comprised the phased delivery of EC175 helicopters from the manufacturer’s facility in Marseille, France to NHV’s UK base in Norwich. Delivery is scheduled between 2013 and 2015.
The EC175 is a multi-role, twin-engined helicopter designed for a range of services including offshore crew transfer flights, search and rescue operations, security roles and emergency medical flights.
