The US independent is selling the gas to two Jordanian companies – Arab Potash and Jordan Bromine – under a 15-year contract.
First exports are due to start in 2016 once minimal pipeline infrastructure is in place. A total of 66 billion cubic feet of gas will be sold at a floor price of $6.50 per thousand cubic foot, with the upside linked to the Brent crude oil price.
