The Russian independent has green-lighted the development of the South-Tambeyskoye gas condensate field and the construction of a natural gas liquefaction plant on the Yamal Peninsula.
Novatek operates Yamal LNG on an 80% stake - 20% of which has been sold to China National Petroleum Corporation in a pending farm-in - with France’s Total holding the remaining 20%.
