The Polarcus Alima seismic vessel started the survey on 17 December towing 12 seismic streamers.
The survey was completed on Tuesday morning, more than one week ahead of schedule.
It extended into the Galleon permit to the south of the Clipper permit.
The terms of the Clipper exploration permit included a requirement for 3D survey to be finished by October 2014.
Data from the survey will now be process and analysed, which could take up to two years.
