The contract is expected to start in March and will be executed by Oceaneering’s Perth-based subsidiary Oceaneering Services Australia, which currently operates and maintains six other facilities in the Perth basin.
Empire initially planned to start the commissioning programme in stages from January. However, it has now been decided that commissioning will be undertaken once the entire facility is handed over from Primero Group - which is contracted to construct the plant - at the practical completion stage.
