The boss of Mexican offshore services player Oceanografia was held for questioning in the country at the weekend as investigations continue into possible fraud at the major Pemex contractor.
Chief executive Amando Yanez, who is also the company’s majority owner, presented himself voluntarily for questioning, the attorney general’s office said in a statementon Sunday.
The attorney general’s office has also requested a temporary detention order to prevent Yanez leaving the country.
