BP’s agreement with Bergen-based Odfjell now runs toDecember 2018, with one more two-year option still available.
The Oslo-listed contractor said BP’s early decision toextend its contract demonstrated the quality and efficiency of its platformdrilling programme.
Odfjell Drilling said it was currently operating on BP’sAndrew, Bruce, Clair and Magnus in the UK North Sea under the contract signedin October 2009.
Clair Ridge is to be added to the list once it is handedover to operations in 2016, the driller said.
