The field in the PN-T-68 block is named Gaviao Branco in documents under review by Brazil's oil regulator, the National Petroleum Agency (ANP).

The company reported a successful flow test at the onshore block in July of 170,000 cubic metres of natural gas per day on a choke opening of 3/8.

The discovery was previously named the Bom Jesus accumulation.

Two other nearby fields, Gaviao Real and Gaviao Azul, have already received commercial designations.
