The PNG-focused company posted a 34.6% increase in its average production rate to 19,467 barrels per day of oil equivalent for the fourth quarter.
While this result was 4.6% lower than 2011’s full year result, Oil Search was pleased that it was within the company’s guidance range despite the one-off impact on production from the Kumul shut-in, as well as a scheduled two-week shutdown of the Kutubu central processing facility and the Agogo production facility in February.
