Speaking to Upstream, managing director Ron Miller said that Essar’s LR 4 land rig was in India and en route to the well site for the 30-day drill of Cambay 77H in Gujarat province beginning in late February or early March.
The explorer is hoping to see gas and condensate flows from the Eocene tight gas formation at the Cambay 77H probe during the summer following eight four-stage fracture stimulations over the course of about a month and six to eight weeks of well clean-up.
