The AIM-listed explorer said that CGG would gather around4060 line kilometres of data in the shoot, which is expected to take ten days.
The explorer said the survey aimed to “determine the extentto which the Wallal Graben as identified in adjacent acreage (100% held byOilex) is also present in SPA 17 AO”.
Oilex chief executive Ron Miller told Upstream earlier thisyear that if the gravity survey proves a success, the explorer has theexclusive right to decide to convert to an exploration permit and start a workprogramme on the acreage.
