The 32,500-tonne Olympus TLP hull set sail on Wednesday from Samsung Heavy Industries' shipyard in South Korea to the Texas Gulf Coast. It is expected to arrive in Ingleside, Texas, in about two months, at which time the topsides will be installed.
The hull is being transported aboard Dockwise's Blue Marlin marine vessel, a semi-submersible heavy-lift ship specifically designed to transport larger equipment above the ship's deck.
