Joint venture partner Octanex revealedon Thursday that the Kaka 3D seismic survey had been completed andthe Polarcus Alima acquisition vessel had been demoblised.

The survey saw 403.8 square kilometresgathered over PEP 51906 and an area adjacent to the permit, while afurther 67.4 square kilometres of 3D tie lines were also gathered aspart of the overall survey.

The survey area lies on a north-eaststructural trend between the Maui oil and gas field and the Maari andManaia oilfields and was aimed at enabling more precise mapping ofprospective oil plays in the Palaeocene Farewell formation and EoceneMangahewa formation.
