Speaking to journalists in Vienna after the company announced its annual results, exploration director Jaap Huijskes said: “We estimate that the final decision will come in 2015.”
He said that both OMV and operator Chevron had been “working very hard” on making the project economic since “rolling up its sleeves” late last year following their joint decision that the high-profile, technically-challenging field was “not mature enough for FID”.
