Accordingly, the goal is a 4.3% growth in gas produced by Argentina’s No. 2 oil and gas producer during 2013 to 2017, or an increase of 4 million cubic feet per day through the end of the agreement.

The agreement was signed in a presidential office after a meeting with President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, and in the presence of top administration and corporate officials, including federal planning minister Julio De Vido and Emmanuel Antonio Alvarez Agis, a representative from the new strategic hydrocarbon investment and coordination commission.
