Taqa finished flow testing the Atrush-4 well on 7 April in three separate cased hole drillstem tests into the Jurassic reservoir. The well hit maximum rates totalling 9059 barrels per day of 27-28 API oil from two of the tests.
None of the tests produced formation water, Toronto-listed partner ShaMaran Petroleum said.
The well, spudded on 20 October last year, hit a total measured depth of 2916 metres on 23 January.
