The Mexican state oil company on Tuesday said PMI entered the lowest "solvent" bid for both units out of seven companies that battled for the units, which are planned for use in the shallow-water sector of the Bay of Campeche.
Upstream previously reported that an award was expected this month in the tender, with the PMI bid apparently at about $314 million.
