Marvin Odum, upstream Americas director and president of Shell Oil Company, issued the update on the Gulf of Mexico's deepest spar project during a news conference at a company technology event.
"The project is doing extremely well," he told journalists. "We've crossed another milestone."
There are 11 wells currently producing at the complex, with plans for new wells under way to increase the output further.
