The Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency have been working to clean up an undetermined amount of pollution.
“ODNR treats all allegations of wrongdoing involving oilfield waste very seriously and will continue to aggressively investigate each of these cases to ensure violators are held accountable,” director James Zerhinger said in a statement on the case, which came from an anonymous tip.
