State entity Perupetro plans to call for selective bidding in June or July for both onshore and offshore blocks promotion and communications manager, Oscar Miro Quesada Rivera, said in Houston this week.
"Peru is still an underexplored country," Quesada said in a presentation at the North American Prospect Expo (Nape).
The offerings will include 26 onshore jungle tracts, starting with four blocks in the central Ucayali basin, four more in the southern Madre de Dios basin and the remainder in the northern Maranon basin.
