The Toronto-listed junior said a 6-foot perforated interval in the middle Gacheta sand flowed up to 3762 bpd of 30 degree API oil over a 13-hour period.
The well was ultimately choked back for lack of storage capacity.
It will be completed as a producer well, adding to counterparts Las Maracas-3 and Las Maracas-4.
Meanwhile, the Tuscany 109 rig will move on to drill the Las Maracas-6 well.
