Bids will besubmitted on 9 January under the fresh tendering process that was launched justa few days ago.
Petrobras hasinvited local shipping companies to present offers for 4500-brake-horsepower platform supply vessels (PSV), as well as multiple15,000-bhp-rated, 18,000 bhp-rated and 21,000-bhp-rated anchor-handling tugsupply (AHTS) vessels.
The biddingrules give contractors the flexibility to submit newbuild vessels for periodsof four, six or eight years – all with options to renew the deal for the sameperiod.
