Semi-submersible Borgny Dolphin is set to be demobilised after the Brazilian state-owned oil company, which had the mid-water rig on a six-year charter due to expire in September, agreed to suspend operations with FOE subsidiary Dolphin Drilling.
The Oslo-listed rig contractor said in a statement the unit will be moved out of Brazilian waters on termination of the deal next month, but did not state whether it has found alternative work for the rig.
