The Brazilian state oil firm said a small spill near its PPM-1, or Pampo, platform was spotted on Saturday. Cleanup crews were called in and the oil dispersed.
An estimated 30 litres of oil escaped on Saturday and 10 litres on Sunday.
None was seen Monday and the platform was restarted.
"The cause of the leak is being analysed and the pertinent authorities have been notified,” the company said in a statement.
