The package includes operation of the drillship Arpoador, being built at the Jurong Aracruz shipyard in Espirito Santo state, and six other units — Copacabana, Grumari, Ipanema, Leblon, Leme and Marambaia — to be constructed in the Estaleiro Atlantico Sul shipyard in Pernambuco state.
According to a source, Petrobras invited six rig contractors to negotiate the sale and transfer of operatorship of the drillships.
