Partners in the Ain Tsila field in the Illizi basin are nowexpected to be handed a 30-year licence to produce from the play.
The partners, including Sonatrach and Enel, estimate thatthere are gross resources of 2.1 trillion cubic feet of sales gas as well as 66million barrels of condensate and 108 MMb of LPG.
Development work is expected to begin in 2014 with first gasaimed for in the third quarter of 2017.
