Vice President of Global LNG Adnan Zainal Abidin told delegates at the inaugural OTC Asia in Kuala Lumpur that the vessel launch is targeted to take place next week at Okpo-based Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
The first FLNG to be deployed off Malaysia will be equipped to handle a gas flow rate of 270 million cubic feet and store 177,000 cubic metres of LNG and another 20,000 cubic metres of condensate, according to Adnan.
