Petronas’ head of enhanced oil recovery technology, Nasir Darman, told reporters on the sideline of the inaugural OTC Asia in Kuala Lumpur that the Malaysian national oil company had five EOR projects in the pipeline after teaming up with ExxonMobil on water-alternate-gas (WAG) EOR at the giant Tapis field.
Two of these - Angsi and North Sabah - are chemical EOR, while three others - Dulang, Bokor and Baram Delta group - are WAG projects.
