The Halifax, Nova Scotia-based LNG newcomer said it woulddevote the spring and summer to site studies in Goldboro after gaining theministry of environment’s go-ahead with conditions.

The conditions require additional studies, monitoring andplanning such as developing a set of management plans for air emissions,greenhouse gas and wetlands, creating a fisheries advisory committee andmaintaining a community liaison committee.

Pieridae Energy director of project development Mark Brownsaid that the focus on FEED would see on-site studies conducted throughout thespring and summer.
