Houston-based Gastar Exploration said on Monday that its production in Marshall County, West Virginia, has been shut-in since early Saturday morning because of the downed pipeline.
An explosion on Saturday morning sparked a small fire on the 12-inch line several miles north of Gastar's operated properties. Local reports quoted first responders saying the fire had burned itself out by 9:30 am.
