Premier intersected a 183-foot net oil-bearing reservoir and a 327-foot gas-bearing reservoir.
Oil and gas samples have been taken from the well located in the Tuna production sharing contract of which Premier is the operator and 65% interest.
After the company evaluates the well, it plans to side-track the well to drill into the Singa Laut prospect in the adjacent fault block.
The results of the side-track are expected in late May and will be collaborated with results from the Kuda Laut.
Also in Indonesia, the company is drilling the Ratu Gajah-1 exploration well in the Natura Sea Block A production sharing contract.
