First LNG exports from the two-train project are due in mid-2014, a few months ahead of schedule, and it is also within its revised $19 billion budget, according to operator ExxonMobil’s project manager Decie Autin.
PNG LNG will have a total capacity of 6.9 million tonnes per annum. Production will begin from train one with the second train coming on later.
