The company said Monday that the Geographe gas field, located off the coast of Victoria in south-east Australia, was brought online following commissioning and testing.
Geographe makes up one part of the Otway gas project, which also comprises the Thylacine gas field and an onshore gas processing facility near Port Campbell in south-west Victoria.
Origin began developing the field following joint venture approval in October 2011.
