PTT Exploration & Production has a jack-up drilling rig on location at its infamous Montara oilfield off Western Australia for the final development well.
The Ensco 109 will drill the fourth production well, and this will enable output to reach a peak of 30,000 barrels per day of oil by the end of this year, the head of the company's Australian subsidiary told delegates at the South East Asia Australia Offshore Conference in Darwin.
