The country continues to reel from extensive and deadly flooding in the area east of Buenos Aires.
The recently renationalised YPF said it would take at least 36 hours to finish draining water from the country’s largest refinery, which in some places rose to 70 centimetres (2.29 feet).
No one was injured in the refinery incident, avoiding any addition to a death toll of over 50.
