The company said its onshore Klalin-14 well, drilled in the Kepala Burung production sharing contract in West Papua’s Sorong area, encountered 24.7 metres of net pay gas.
The well also produced 9.8 million cubic feet per day of gas and 220 barrels per day of condensate on a 24/64-inch choke from two zones during recent tests.
The well has now been completed and will be placed on production shortly, RH Petrogas said on Monday, adding that the planned output rate of 3 MMcfd and 150 bpd would depend on the gas demand.
