Nido revealed on Monday that the newbuild UMW Naga-5 jack-up drilling rig was en route from Singapore to the Baragatan location and was expected to arrive on location within 10 to 12 days.
The Naga-5 rig was built by Singapore’s Keppel Fels for Malaysian rig owner UMW Standard Drilling and is capable of operating in water depths of up to 120 metres and drilling to a depth of 9100 metres.
