The former Vane Minerals has taken a 75%interest in some 195,000 net acres in the Mancos and Cane Creek shale plays inGrand and Emergy counties, Utah, from Rockies Standard Oil.
The acquisition price is $2 million, withRose required to drilled three wells in the Mancos play and one in Cane Creek.
Rose will become operator of the acreagewith Rockies retaining a 25% interest.
