The jack-up Rowan Gorilla III will kick off work in October 2014 for a group of companies comprised of US gas powerhouse EOG Resources, UK-listed Trinity Exploration, Spanish major Repsol and UK gas giant Centrica, according to the company's latest fleet status report and confirming a prior Upstream report.
The contract, expected to extend for a year at a day rate of $160,000, may be extended longer at a higher dayrate.
