The London-listed explorer said that chief executive Don Wolcott had left the company and would be replaced on an interim basis by chief financial officer Tom Reed with immediate effect.
RusPetro also said its chairman Chris Clark would step down at the end of the month to be replaced by current president and director Alexander Chistyakov.
Another director, Joe Mach, has also stepped down with immediate effect.
