A total of 26 from the so-called Arctic 30 have now been granted bail by either of two Russian courts, with a number already leaving prison.
On Thursday, Britons Iain Rogers and Frank Hewetson, Gizem Akhan from Turkey, Ruslan Yakushev from Ukraine, Alexandre Paul from Canada and New Zealander Jonathan Beauchamp were bailed following their arrest along with 24 others on board Greenpeace’s flagship vessel Arctic Sunrise in the Pechora Sea in September.
